Spotted Trotter

In 2010, Atlanta native Kevin Ouzts founded The Spotted Trotter and dubbed it “New American Charcuterie”. The term is meant to convey charcuterie inspired by old-world techniques, but made with American ingredients to be something uniquely American. More specifically, The Spotted Trotter focuses on developing recipes and flavors that reference its Southern heritage, using traditional Southern ingredients like sorghum syrup, mayhaw, pecans, peanuts, and more.

The Spotted Trotter is also highly selective of their ingredients, using meat from farmers whose ideology closely aligns with theirs, prioritizing responsible animal husbandry and local farming.  From salami to prosciutto, sausage to bacon, steaks and more, The Spotted Trotter caters to every meat lover’s craving. Regardless of the product, the mission is to provide “exquisite balance in flavor, price, and sustainability”.
