It has a beechwood base with a vertical rod, upon which a blade is mounted. Simply spike the cheese though the rod and start curling. You can also use this tool for the P'tit Basque or even to make chocolate curls. For best use, remove leftover cheese from the curler before washing and storing dry at room temperature. Not dishwasher safe.
