$29.98
Oregon Blue is Rogue Creamery's signature cheese. First created in 1954, it was the first cave-aged, Roquefort-style blue cheese made on the West Coast.
This cheese is approachable and fruity, with moderate blue flavor and a hint of sweet forest honey. It has a rich, creamy texture and a savory-sweet finish with notes of huckleberry and sweet nuts. Veins of mellow earthy blue mold can be found throughout the cheese.
Oregon Blue is a versatile cheese that accents salads of every season. This cheese adds a great hint of tanginess to earthy meats like lamb, burgers, and steak.
This organic gourmet blue pairs nicely with a supple Viognier, Riesling and Pinot Noir.
