Great Hill Blue Cheese
Dense and delightfully crumbly, this raw cow milk blue from Marion, Massachusetts is tart, tangy, and robust, without being too strong.
$10.98
Great Hill Dairy is perched on Buzzard’s Bay, about 50 miles South of Boston. In their turn-of-the (last) century barn, they make only one kind of cheese: Great Hill Blue. The milk from their herd of Guernsey cows is kept raw and unhomogenized to make the creamiest and most delicious blue possible. It has a classic American-blue flavor: clean milk flavors with lots of sharp and sour notes that blue lovers will savor. An ideal blue to crumble over burgers or salads, it can also be enjoyed after dinner with sweet wines or spirits. Also good with other sweets like honey, candied nuts, and dark chocolate.
