Idyll Farms Honey Lavender Goat Cheese

This oh-so-delicate fresh cheese comes from Michigan's Idyll Farms, and is named 'Idyll Pastures'. This version is flavored with the addition of honey and lavender, for a taste which might transport you straight to the pasture itself. Just watch out for the happy goats. This fresh farmstead cheese has a super light flavor, with a clean mild taste, and the subtle sweetness of honey, plus the floral notes of lavender. This cheese is formed into a 4 oz. disc and is equally spreadable or sliceable. This cheese is extremely versatile and can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. Try it: spread into sandwiches, sliced into salads, tossed into pasta dishes, chicken salads, topped with olive oil and fresh herbs, with fresh berries, jams, chutneys, honey or simply placed on a cheese board.
