This award-winning Grafton Aged Cheddar is made from raw milk and aged for about 2 years. Vermont is famous for its cheddar production. Grafton Village Cheese Co. has been part of this cheese making community since 1892. Grafton's aged cheddars are handmade using primarily raw Jersey cow milk from small family farms. Jersey cow milk is richer than milk from other breeds, and known best for its high protein and butterfat, yielding especially delicious cheese. While ageing, this cheddar develops the classic minerality and sharpness which Vermont cheddar lovers seek. This 2-year-old cheddar has won more awards than any other cheese in the company's history.
