Palacios Original Chorizo

This mild chorizo sausage is made by Palacios from an old family recipe and a great sausage to try; you will understand why so many people love this famous Spanish 'salami'. Palacios was founded in 1983 and exports its Spanish chorizo around the world. Only a few businesses offer real Spanish sausages in the U.S. and none has a better reputation than Palacios. The company's origins can be traced back to a family butcher shop in La Rioja which set up business in 1960. The Mild Chorizo is made from coarsely chopped pork and seasoned with paprika, salt and garlic; the mild Spanish paprika gives the chorizo its characteristic flavor. It contains no nitrates or nitrites or any other preservative. This fully dry-cured chorizo and ready to eat with your favorite Spanish cheese, some Marcona almonds and wine, or just with a cracker.
