José Andrés Potato Chips

These chips have only 3 amazing ingredients: potatoes, extra virgin olive oil and Himalayan pink salt. Chipmaster Rafael del Rosal uses only the finest: Spanish 'Agria' potatoes; a custom blend extra virgin olive oil from ancient groves in the heart of Andalucia which is milled next to the chip factory to ensure purity and freshness; and pink salt from the foothills of the Himalayas. The potatoes are slow-fried, preserving the flavor and nutrient density of the extra virgin olive oil and allowing it to infuse the chips. They are then sprinkled lightly with salt, making the finished product a crunchy chip that explodes in your mouth yet is substantial enough to pair with ham, piquillo peppers, or simple seafoods for easy tapas at home.
