Riesling Pairing Selection
Riesling wines have their origins in Germany's Rhein and Mosel river valleys and are known for their fruity notes of apple, peach, and pear, with some subtle floral undertones. These wines can range from dry to sweet, and from light to full-bodied. Our handpicked collection of cheese pairings for Riesling is designed to complement this wine's exquisite flavors.

Our Riesling Pairing Selection pairs well with a Riesling Spatlese (meaning 'late harvest', a wine from fully ripe grapes):
Grand Cru Cheese from Roth (6 oz.) - a nutty cow's milk cheese with a firm texture. It holds an array of tastes, complex in flavor. Caramel, fruit, and mushroom come to the top then you are met with the full-bodied rich, sweet and buttery notes of cocoa, toasted nuts and hay. Or a Gruyere Cheese(8 oz.).
Original Blue Cheese (6 oz.) - a blue-lover's blue. Nice and sharp, with a very smooth supremely creamy texture. Or another famous American Blue, Maytag Blue (4 oz.).
Old Amsterdam Cheese (8 oz.) - rich and sweet in flavor with caramel and toasty notes and a long, balanced finish. Or if you prefer a cheese from a competing Dutch city, Old Rotterdam (7 oz.).
Triple Cream Brie (8 oz.) - American-made. Smooth and rich with a thin mushroomy rind.
Caramelized Pecans - (4.4 oz.) - or Caramelized Walnuts (4 oz.) crunchy roasted and slightly sweet nuts are delicious anytime.
