Mitica Sunflower Honey

Sunflower Honey is a honey with a beautiful intense yellow color and a gentle taste and is popular in both sweet and savory baking. It is a bright and you could say sunny honey with a complex flavor profile that is not aggressive. You will experience floral and butterscotch aromas in a dense texture. Sunflower honey contains little sucrose and therefore may crystallize quicker than other honeys. Crystallized honey is still perfectly edible and enjoyable. Place the jar in a pot of hot water and keep an eye on it until the crystals dissolve. Pair this raw honey with a Pecorino, or Taleggio or use it over roasted vegetables.
