Beluga Hybrid Caviar
Farm-raised in Italy, this caviar is a cross between the Beluga and the Siberian sturgeon Beluga Hybrid caviar and is milder and more buttery than the traditional Beluga.
Serving size: 1 ounce. Excellent served alone, just on a mother of pearl spoon.

The pearls of this hybrid Beluga caviar (consisting of cross between the Beluga Sturgeon (Huso huso) and the Siberian Sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) are very large and firm with a brownish grey color and a smooth and silky texture with a hint of earthiness and nuttiness. The buttery finish will linger in your mouth.
It is not the Beluga 00 caviar, but a unique substitute for the more exclusive one. Farming the Beluga Caviar is very complex, so aquafarms began producing hybrid Beluga caviars by cross-breeding Beluga with other faster producing sturgeon species. This one is produced in Italy and is a combination of Beluga with Siberian sturgeon.
